MEET THE COACHING STAFF
Brandon Garcia
General Manager
Brandon Garcia brings extensive travel baseball experience to 813 Sports, having served in leadership roles as a Director of Baseball Operations and High School/Summer Circuit Director. He has coached nationally ranked 14U and 18U teams and has coached more than 75 current and former college athletes. A Division II National Champion with the University of Tampa, Brandon combines championship experience with a passion for player development and a commitment to building an organization that represents the culture, family, and baseball community of Tampa Bay.
Jax Golden
Assistant Coach/Hitting
Jax Golden brings a strong combination of playing experience, coaching leadership, and a passion for developing young athletes to 813 Baseball. He currently serves as Head JV Coach and Varsity Assistant Coach at Tarpon Springs High School and has also led Prospects Performance’s 16U program. During the summer of 2026, Jax stepped into an Interim Head Coach role for a 17U team after finishing the summer with a tournament championship at the Perfect Game East World Series in Marietta, Georgia. Before coaching, Jax competed at the collegiate level with Philander Smith University (NAIA) and Southeastern Illinois College (NJCAA Division I), as well as with the Sawmills Timberkings of the ONSL Summer Collegiate League. He brings that experience to 813 Baseball with a focus on hitting, player development, and helping athletes elevate their game.
